Item is a scrapbook including many attached photographs, drawings, etc., with handwritten captions and commentary, recounting the creation in 1979 and subsequent genesis of Pfirsich Rommel, created by Donna Barr and known as The Desert Peach, the fictitious gay younger brother of General Erwin Rommel; many photographs are of individuals (including Donna Barr) in costume as The Desert Peach; many others are of individuals in costumes for their roles in a play about the Desert Peach performed in 1992.

Biographical Information: Donna Barr, an accomplished artist and prolific writer, was born in Everett, Washington in 1952, and began drawing as a child in 1954. She served in the United States Army from 1970-73, and received a bachelors' Degree in German from Ohio State University in 1978.
